Lending Club deceived customers with 'no hidden fees' loans, FTC alleges

The Federal Trade Commission filed a lawsuit charging Lending Club with deceiving customers into loans with a false promise of “no hidden fees.” The FTC also alleged that the peer-to-peer online lender double-charged consumers in some months.
