Runway to red carpet: Golden Globes dresses then and now
The Golden Globes are the official kick-off of awards season, and stars from television and film come out in full force to fill the red carpet with incredible style. But while some of what we’ll see the stars wear will be custom pieces created just for them, many of the stunning gowns will be chosen from the runways — dresses we first saw glide past us during Fashion Week.
And there’s nothing quite like seeing those gowns come to life, and seeing how celebrities choose to style them.
We scoured the Golden Globes red carpet for some of our favorite looks, and then found them on the runway as well. You won’t believe how different some of them look when you transform it from high fashion to Hollywood glamour.
