Comedian casually grills Eric Trump on flight to Scotland

It’s always interesting to see who you’ll be sitting next to on a plane, right?

Well imagine how Mohammed Amer felt when fate (and his chosen airline) sat him right beside the Eric Trump.

When the Arab-American standup comedian boarded his plane at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey Wednesday and saw that the president-elect’s son was his seat mate, he knew exactly what he had to do — take a selfie and post it on Facebook.

In his post, Amer announced he was heading to Glasgow, Scotland to embark on his UK Tour. “I am ‘randomly’ chosen to sit next to none other than Eric Trump,” he wrote alongside a photograph of himself seated beside Eric in a blue Trump sweater (of course).

“I was just walking in and he was just sitting there with his Trump shirt on and I was like, is this real?” Amer toldBuzzfeed.

After reportedly chatting about the discussed Muslim check-in process, the campaign and, of course, Hillary Clinton for about a half hour, Amer said Trump fell asleep and he was left with the feeling that the man was somewhat robotic.

“I just felt he was a robot, in the sense this guy has a routine that has been there since he was six. I believe his dad raised him super old-school and that’s the feeling I got from him,” Amer told the publication. “He’s flying first class to Scotland for a day, checking in on their golf course, going in and talking to them. This guy is all about business.”

Before Amer’s flight took off, he posted another Facebook status, joking, “if I disappear and don’t make it on tour YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!!”
