The SUV revolution in America has a devastating outcome: Pedestrian deaths are skyrocketing

A Detroit Free Press/USA TODAY Network investigation found that the increasing popularity of SUVs is the most likely cause of escalating pedestrian deaths nationwide, which are up 46 percent since 2009.
